MCG — Hanvana Florida
“Through my work I have the desire to turn my imagination into something three dimensional. I love using metal because there are so many different textures that can be emulated.”

Mark is a sculptor working from a studio in Havana Florida. Trained in traditional forge work, the practice draws equally from craft tradition and contemporary art — finding the point where function dissolves into form.

Each sculpture begins at the forge. Heat reveals what the metal wants to do; the hammer negotiates. The work is intentionally slow — a counterweight to speed as a cultural value — and each piece is made entirely by hand, without CNC or laser cutting.

The studio accepts commissions for private collections, architectural elements, and site-specific installations. Work has been placed in private estates, public gardens, and corporate collections throughout the Northeast.
